“Yatagarasu” is a three-legged mythical crow, believed in Japanese mythology, to be a god of guidance and an incarnation of the sun.
Inspired by this legend, TACCIA created the Maki-e Urushi fountain pen “Mythological Big Crow and Sun”.
The “Kage-e” (Shadow Play) collection of TACCIA, contrary to the maki-e tradition, uses a creamy white lacquer as the base and black lacquer to draw attention to the crow. The subject is skillfully painted on by Japanese Wajima craftsman, with its three-dimensional effect breathing life into this pen.
Equipped with a Sailor-made 18K-gold “King of Pen” nib, produced exclusively for TACCIA.
The TACCIA Kaga-e Maki-e pen collection contains three unique style, each limited to 50 pieces worldwide. The pen is packaged in an elegant wooden box and comes with a Japanese Kimono pen wrap and a bottle of TACCIA Ukiyo-e ink (40ml).

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
