Platinum

Founded in 1919 by Shunichi Nakata in Tokyo, Platinum was a pioneer in the manufacturing and trading of fine writing instruments. Notable innovations include producing the first iridium tipped steel nibs and platinum nibs and their renowned “slip and seal” mechanism that prevents ink from drying out in their pens. They continue to innovate with their writing instruments such as their beloved 3776, Izumo and Procyon lines.
