“Rankaku” refers to a Japanese maki-e technique of inlaying eggshell pieces in urushi lacquer to create beautiful designs and patterns. First, craftsmen cut the eggshells into suitably sized pieces, then place the fragments onto the pen barrel piece by piece. Because of the eggshell's natural fragility, such handiwork requires an experienced and delicate touch.
“Winter Breath” uses two hand-laid Maki-e techniques: Raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) and Rankaku. Each pen takes months to produce.
“Winter Breath” has two versions:
1. Miyabi Empress (Limited to 288 pieces): Empress has a Sailor-made 18K-gold “King of Pen” nib, produced exclusively for TACCIA.
2. Miyabi (Limited to 88 pieces): It comes with a Sailor-made 18K-gold “1911L” nib, produced exclusively for TACCIA.
The pen is packaged in an exquisite wooden box and comes with a Japanese Kimono pen wrap along with a bottle of TACCIA Ukiyo-e ink (40ml).

「卵殻塗」是日本蒔繪技法之一。匠人需要將蛋殼碎片逐片貼上筆桿，然後反覆上漆，直至漆與蛋殼齊平，再仔細研磨拋光至平滑。由於蛋殼容易碎裂，難度遠比一般螺鈿更高，更具賞玩和收藏價值。
TACCIA與日本輪島市漆工坊的漆藝師合作，製作旗艦級漆筆：Winter Breath冬息。
整枝筆以硬橡膠為筆胎，由上而下鋪滿潔白的蛋殼，如紛飛的雪花。中央則鑲嵌有珍貴的珍珠貝母，同樣以人手剪裁和黏貼，在光線下變幻出七彩光澤。每枝皆耗費數個月時間製作。
Winter Breath共有兩個版本：
1. Miyabi Empress皇后（限量288枝）：筆夾同樣施加卵殻塗，裝配雙色18K金King of Pen筆尖，由日本Sailor專門製造。
2. Miyabi大桿（限量88枝）：採用銀色不鏽鋼筆夾，尺寸略小於Miyabi Empress，裝配雙色18K金Sailor製1911L筆尖。
筆款以精緻木盒包裝，並附送和風布筆袋；Miyabi Empress另外附送TACCIA浮世繪墨水一瓶（40ml）。

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
