In October 2022, TACCIA began a challenging series, in which they would release a new urushi fountain pen each month. Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month.
Moon and Binten is the first installment of the 12 part series.
“Binten” means Autumn Sky. This idea was inspired by the Japanese custom of admiring the full moon in August during the Mid Autumn festival.
The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist applies black lacquer and sprinkles gold shimmer on each side to create a stunning gradient. The surface is then repeatedly varnished and polished to feel smooth and seamless in your hands.
The pen comes with a Sailor-made 14k-gold nib.
“Moon and Binten” is limited to 88 pieces worldwide.

筆桿採用硬橡膠，並有12面體設計。漆藝師在每一面都塗上黑色天然漆，再灑上純金粉，造出漸層。然後在表面反覆塗抹清漆，並手工研磨拋光，營造滑溜細膩的觸感。
14K金筆尖為日本Sailor為TACCIA特別製作，打磨精細。

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
