The Platinum #3776 is a timeless model, one that is oftentimes many's first introduction to 14k gold nibs. First produced in 1978, it's name is derived from the Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest peak. Platinum spent over 5 years designing this pen so that it fits in your hands perfectly. The cap features a slip and seal mechanism, which keeps the ink from drying out, even after being left unused for a year.

In comparison to other brands, Platinum's 14k gold nib is slightly larger at the shoulders, and offers a unique combination of firmness and responsiveness.
