■ Pilot Lightive Fountain Pen ■
Lightive was launched in Japan in December 2021. Its name was meant to fuse "light" and "active" — built as an everyday-carry in pockets or bags, not stored away in desk drawers.
At 12 grams, it's one of the lightest fountain pens Pilot has ever made. However, the real engineering happens in the cap: a re-designed airtight seal that keeps the nib primed with ink even after many months of neglect. No need to wet the nib again; just uncap and write.
The nib is made of Pilot's stainless "Special Alloy," the same nib material found on the new flagship steel nib Vanishing Point (Capless), tuned to offer smooth writing experience from the very first stroke. The fountain pen can be paired with Pilot's CON-40 and CON-70 converters for refilling with bottled ink.
Call it Explorer's more refined understudy — same bones, two years of extra refinement.

NOTE for deliveries to the USA:
For shipping to the USA, we use "Economic Tracked Shipping" (estimated delivery time: 10 - 16 business days, tax inclusive). This shipping option is carried out by a third-party agent and the last-mile delivery in the US would be carried by USPS or a local US courier. While this shipping option is inclusive of any US import tax, there is still a risk of arbitrary imposition of additional taxes or import duties on your shipment.
Note: By default on most orders, we use Hong Kong Post (Postal Service Company) to ship out international packages as an affordable service that typically does not incur extra fees at the border customs control. However, depending on your country of residence, some taxes may still be levied by the local customs, and you will be responsible for paying any assessed custom fees upon receipt.
How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is typically shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
