Penlux Masterpiece Grande Koi Fountain Pen - Koi King 彩錦鯉

The Koi fish, also known as Nishikigoi, are colored varieties of the Amur carp. Niigata, Japan began breeding koi fish in the early 19th century. The most common koi are Kōhaku (red & white), Taishō Sanshoku (white, red & black) and the Shōwa Sanshoku (black, red & white) varieties.

Inspired by the color of koi, Taiwanese brand Penlux has created the Masterpiece Grande “Koi King” fountain pen. They use high-density chunk PMMA to simulate the pattern and color of Koi King. Each pen has a unique marble pattern.

The pen comes with a Penlux No. 15 aluminum alloy piston system. The pen nib is German-made no. 6 Jowo nib. It is available in steel nib (F, M, B, stub 1.1), 14k-gold Flex nib and 18k-gold nib (F, M).

錦鯉最初是鯉魚的天然彩色變種，因罕見奇特而被捕捉飼養。19世紀初，日本新潟開始養殖錦鯉，並發展出配種技術，培育出不同色澤的錦鯉。當中以「紅白」、「大正三色」（白底伴紅黑色斑）和「昭和三色」（黑底伴紅白色斑）為主流，被日本人稱為「錦鯉御三家」。

鯉魚長壽、生命力強，「鯉」又跟「利」同音，而且有「鯉躍龍門」的傳說，被視為吉祥、富足的象徵。

台灣品牌Penlux以錦鯉為靈感，製作全新「Koi King」彩錦鯉Masterpiece Grande鋼筆。他們使用紅色、黑色和白色的高密度塊狀PMMA，還原彩錦鯉的顏色與斑紋。每支筆的紋路皆獨一無二。

筆款裝配Penlux獨有No. 15活塞上墨系統。每支筆從設計、開發到製作皆在台灣完成，造工精細嚴謹。

筆尖由德國Jowo精製，採用6號大尖，配合尺寸大、配重良好的筆桿，寫感相當舒適。可以選擇不鏽鋼尖（F, M, B, stub 1.1）、14K Flex彈性尖和雙色18K金尖（F, M）。
