Inspired by the renowned artist, Glauco Cambon.
The Art Collection is a brand new pen collection by Pelikan. Its design is inspired by numerous advertising posters created since 1838. The first pen in this collection features the award-winning artwork of Italian painter, Glauco Cambon (1875-1930), from Pelikan's poster design competition in 1909.
Unlike the regular M600, this pen has a brass barrel, offering a more substantive feel. To pay tribute to the colorful pelican in the artwork, Pelikan introduced the exquisite "Aurora" craft:
- Engraving: Intricate wave-patterned grooves were meticulously carved onto the brass barrel.
- Lacquering: Ten layers of lacquer were applied to the barrel surface, followed by polishing to achieve a smooth and refined finish.
- Coloring: Colorful patterns were printed on, then completed with a final polishing.
The pen body exhibits a unique radiance that sets it apart from the regular M600, and comes in an exquisite gift box and is a highly collectible piece!
The M600 line is Pelikan's mid-range model, its pen body the perfect size for most writers. It includes their renowned piston-fill mechanism, which offers writers a generous ink capacity and sports a 14k gold nib.
