As early as the 17th century, Taiwan had developed its own indigo dyeing industry . Taiwan's blue dyes were delivered by merchant ships to the rest of the world and they could even be seen at the World’s Fair. People praised Taiwan's indigo dyeing products as "the most beautiful indigo in the world". Following the creation of synthetic dyes, Taiwan's indigo dyeing industry, which lasted for more than 200 years, inevitably had enteredthe history book.

Taiwanese brand Lennon Tool Bar has endeavored to bring back the lost traditional colors of Taiwanese indigo dyes by creating the "Indigo Color" ink collection.

早在17世紀，台灣便與藍染結下緣份。商船將台灣藍染顏料送到全世界，甚至帶到了萬國博覽會。人們欣賞著台灣藍染製品，讚美是「世界上最美麗的藍」。只可惜化學合成的染料面世後，嚴重衝擊傳統藍染產業。二戰結束之時，延續200多年的台灣藍染產業也步入了歷史。

台灣品牌藍濃道具屋致力復興台灣藍染，將消失的傳統色彩重新帶到人們面前。他們以藍染布料為靈感，設計出「藍染色系」墨水。 

納戶色源於過去日本地方的小管理階層為了方便民眾辨識身份，選定幾個顏色予「納戶」穿過。久而久之成為了特定色彩名稱。
