Kaweco had been producing piston-filler fountain pens since 1934. Unfortunately, after the bankruptcy in the 1970s, they stopped such production. Since then, the currently available Sport model could only be used with ink cartridges or converters. However, this year, 2024, marks the official comeback of the authentic piston-filled version of the Sport!

The piston filling mechanism not only provides a larger ink capacity but also boasts a more complex structure. Implementing such a mechanism in such a compact pen body is highly challenging, thus making petite piston-filling fountain pens a rarity. The piston-filled Sport truly represents Kaweco‘s top-notch craftsmanship!

Featuring a sleek matte black aluminum alloy pen body with a transparent ink window, the pen always allows for convenient monitoring of the ink level.

The stainless steel nib, manufactured in Germany, is available in various sizes: Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad.

The pen comes beautifully packaged in an exquisite vintage round tin that includes a 32ml bottle of Blue Tinte ink, making it a perfect choice for gifting or personal use!
