Journalize Ink Time of a Day - Dawn
Each day, we experience the cycle of time - moving from dawn to noon, then to dusk and finally to midnight, then experiencing dawn once again. Although the concept of time is quite abstract to us, we can feel the passage of time by seeing the colors of the sky, even without a clock.
Following the collections in the previous years: "Starry Night," "Whimsical," "Mirror of the Sky," and "Nebula," Hong Kong-based stationery shop, Journalize, has launched the "Time of a Day" fountain pen ink series for the year 2025. The ink collection is themed around the sky's colors at different times throughout the day.
The Ink Colors
This handcrafted ink is made in Hungary, packaged in a 30ml bottle, features shimmering inks available in four colors, each corresponding to a different time of day, named:
- Dawn – periwinkle blue with rose gold shimmer
- Noon – light blue with light gold shimmer
- Dusk – violet with rose gold shimmer
- Midnight – dark blue with magenta-purple shimmer
The Ink Boxes
Journalize continues to collaborate with local printer and design studio, Aoto Letterpress, to create 100% Hong Kong-made ink boxes. Using a unique thermal-sensitive ink, the black parts of the box will change color, revealing hidden colorful backgrounds for a dreamlike visual experience! Once cooled, the color will revert to black.
Tip: If you would prefer less shimmer or no shimmer, don’t agitate the ink bottle and fill your pen with ink from the top of the bottle.

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.

All orders will include a tracking number. Once your order ships, we will send you an email that includes tracking information so that you can monitor where your package is!
