About Rosewood (花梨木)
Rosewood refers to a group of dense, richly-hued hardwoods from the genus Dalbergia, long prized across Asia and beyond for fine furniture and string instruments of heirloom-quality craftsmanship. Its name comes from the faint, sweet floral scent released when the wood is freshly cut or sanded.
Renowned for its warm reddish-brown tones and fine, straight grain occasionally interspersed with darker streaks, rosewood is one of the most classic hardwoods used in guitar-making, valued for both its visual depth and its acoustic resonance. Its natural density makes it highly durable and resistant to wear, while its tight grain allows for a smooth, polished finish that only deepens in character with age and handling.
These qualities — density, workability, and a colour that only grows richer over time — make rosewood a natural fit for a fine writing instrument that is meant to be used, not just displayed.

Plunger-Style Vacuum Filler
The pen uses a vacumatic filler, which was especially popular during the last century, and used in many classic vintage pens such as the Parker Vacumatic. By pressing the button at the end of the pen barrel, then releasing the button to recoil back to original position, a vacuum is created inside the barrel, allowing ink to be drawn into the pen.
The push-button mechanism is made of metal and equipped with a corrosion-resistant piston, making it durable and long-lasting. Maintenance and cleaning are also easy.
The pen comes with a German-made JOWO no.6 stainless steel nib.

For shipping to the USA, we use "Economic Tracked Shipping" (estimated delivery time: 10 - 16 business days, tax inclusive). This shipping option is carried out by a third-party agent and the last-mile delivery in the US would be carried by USPS or a local US courier. While this shipping option is inclusive of any US import tax, there is still a risk of arbitrary imposition of additional taxes or import duties on your shipment.

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is typically shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
