Fine Writing International Pencket Fountain Pen - Blue Note
If Roaring Age fountain pen is the brass band, Blue Note is the late-night trio. This edition of the Pencket trades hot reds and ambers for a cooler, moodier palette—the kind of colors you would find in a dimly lit jazz club sometime around mid-1950's—wrapped around the same clever pocket-pen design and full-size number 6 German nib.
The cap and barrel are turned from hand-cast acrylic in the classic cool-toned "cracked ice" pattern, a nod to the celluloid pens of the early twentieth century. Here the shards come in peacock turquoise, deep teal, orchid purple and rich mahogany brown, suspended in a translucent ground shot through with fine pearlescent shimmer. Tilt the pen and the surface shifts from cool blue to violet to a soft, silvery glow—like stage lights moving across a smoky room.
Because each blank is cast by hand, the arrangement of shards is different on every pen. No two Blue Notes are alike. Anchoring the pattern, the grip section and the posting end of the barrel are finished in a deep, glossy navy blue—a quiet, solid tone that lets the cracked-ice pattern take the center stage.
About Pencket V2
Pencket takes its name from Pen and Pocket. Its creation was based on the simple idea that a fountain pen should be space-saving and easy to carry in your pocket while it can be converted to a full-size pen when the pen is posted. The compact form of Pencket offers a light weight in your hand while preserving the balance and comfort of a full-size pen writing experience. Pencket currently is one of the few pocket pens that carries a large No.6 nib.
The latest V2 edition refines the silhouette with an updated slightly more conical exterior and reinforced construction. The metal roll-stopper studded on the cap is now made into a tear-drop shape. For further refinement of aesthetics, now the nib can be twisted to allow alignment in a straight line with the position of the roll-stop when the pen is posted.Â

For shipping to the USA, we use "Economic Tracked Shipping" (estimated delivery time: 10 - 16 business days, tax inclusive). How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is typically shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.Â
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping:Â For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping:Â Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
