Micarta, as known as bakelite, is one of the Phenol formaldehyde resins, which is the first commercial synthetic resins (plastics) in history. Because of its heat resistance and insulation, Micarta is widely used in electrical equipment. The handle of many high-end knives is also made from Micarta.

Taiwanese brand Fine Writing Int. has chosen Japan-made Micarta as the body material of its last 10th Anniversary limited edition fountain pen. Cloth fibers is added during production to increase its strength. Each pen has a unique texture.

The pen comes with a German-made no.6 size JOWO steel nib.

You can refill the pen with three ways: eyedropper, converter and cartridge.

Micarta fountain pen is limited to 40 pieces worldwide. Individual number is engraved on the pen cap.

Micarta是世界上第一款人工合成的樹脂「酚醛樹脂」，最早於1872年由德國化學家Adolf von Baeyer發明，後來經美國化學家Leo Baekeland改良並商業化，成為塑膠工業的開山始祖。由於耐熱並絕緣，Micarta大量應用於電氣設備，又因質感酷似木材，所以俗稱為「電木」。不少高級刀具的刀柄都選用Micarta製造。

台灣品牌尚羽堂大膽創新，選用Micarta材質製作最後一款十週年限定筆。

Micarta由日本製造。製作時加入布纖維，不單提升強度，而且經過拋光打磨後，透出布纖維的紋理。每枝筆的紋理皆獨一無二，並帶有原木般的觸感。

筆款配搭10週年特製德國6號筆尖。

使用尚羽堂獨有的三用式上墨機制，可以滴入式、墨膽或吸墨器上墨。

Micarta鋼筆僅生產40枝，每枝皆刻有限量編號。
