A Hong Kong Classic, captured in a bottle of ink.
Dominant Industry Hong Kong Exclusive Edition Ink - Hong Kong Milk Tea [Pre-Order]
Ask any Hongkonger to name the drink that best represents the city, and most people would say milk tea. Its well-known nickname, "silk stocking milk tea," (絲襪奶茶) which refers to the cloth tea strainer. After long use, the strainer is stained a deep tea brown, looking like a lady's silk stocking. Strong Ceylon black tea is poured from a height through the cloth bag filter and then blended with “Black & White Evaporated Milk” in the cup. The result is the rich, fragrant Hong Kong Milk Tea.
This drink grew out of British afternoon tea and took on its own Hong Kong character. Today it's known around the world for its strong tea aroma and silky texture, and the craft of making it is recognized as part of Hong Kong's Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).
To honor this local classic, our local distributor has teamed up with Korean ink maker Dominant Industry to create "Hong Kong Milk Tea", a limited-edition Standard Series ink sold exclusively in Hong Kong.
The Color
The color captures the moment strong tea first meets evaporated milk in the cup. It's a warm amber brown with golden honey-yellow edges and darker tea-brown tones gather where the ink pools. The shading looks just like milk tea swirling in a cup. With every stroke, you get a taste of Hong Kong on the page.
Packaged in a 25ml, pear shaped glass bottle.

Dominant Industry
