About Amboyna Burl
This Cypress Fountain Pen is named in Chinese: “璞木物語 - 花梨瘤”, or in English “Whispers of Wood – Amboyna Burl”.
Ever heard of Amboyna Burl? If not, you’re in for a treat! This exotic wood, sourced from the roots of the Burmese Rosewood tree, is one of the superstars of rare exotic timbers from South East Asia. Such dense and durable red wood is often used in the courts of Chinese Emperors in ancient times.
Amboyna Burl is celebrated for its rich, irregular, swirly grain patterns—like a secret dance of colours and whorls beneath your fingertips. Each pen boasts its own unique "fingerprint," ensuring that no two are ever the same. If pens had personalities, ours would be both whimsical and full of surprises!

- Streamlined Clipless Chopstick-like Shape: Each pen, with both barrel and the cap, is made from one piece of wood lathed to a perfectly seamless cylindrical shape. Once capped, you cannot even see the crevice between the barrel and the cap!
- Uplifting Scent: Amboyna Burl emits a rose-like scent with a hint of mild spice like cinnamon – an uplifting aroma that comforts your soul.

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is typically shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
