2024 is the year of the Dragon, which is considered the guardian of the elements across successive dynasties in China and the symbol of perseverance and success. It is also the only mythological creature in the Chinese zodiac!
To celebrate this occasion, Caran d’Ache has introduced a brand new Chinese Zodiac Collection 2024 limited edition pen: “Year of the Dragon” , designed by Caran d’Ache’s ambassador, Jean-Philippe Kalonji.
Artisanal Lacquer Body
This limited edition pen has a brass body covered with gloss-varnished red lacquer which was meticulously applied by master craftsmen by hand. Golden dragon reliefs were delicately crafted and polished, beautifully contrasted against the fiery scarlet body.
Complementary decorative elements
The top of the pen cap carries the Caran d’Ache hexagonal logo in red enamel. The cap band is engraved with the text “Caran d’Ache ‘’ and “Swiss Made”, showcasing the Swiss craftsmanship.
Limited Edition
To bring good fortune and luck, only 888 pens were produced worldwide! (Note: “8”in Chinese sounds similar to the Chinese word “發(fa)” which means “to get rich or lucky”) The serial number is seen at the end of the blind cap.
The pen also comes with an elegant pen box with magnetic enclosure. The box is covered with a repetitive motif inspired by the dragon scales.

How much is my shipping?
Hong Kong and Macau have a flat rate of HKD 35.
For all other countries, the shipping rate is dependent on the order’s weight and will be calculated at checkout.
Which courier will my order be shipped through?
For Hong Kong and Macau, your order will be shipped through SF Express.
For Taiwan, your orders will be shipped through SF Express or E-Express.
For all other countries, Standard Tracked Shipping is shipped through E-Express. Express Tracked Shipping is shipped through Speed Post.
When will my order arrive?
Standard Tracked Shipping: For Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, estimated delivery time is approximately 2-4 working days. For the rest of Asia, 2-7 working days. For the rest of the world, 7-14 working days.
Expedited Shipping: Within Asia, typically 2-4 days. For the rest of the world, around 3-5 days.
